Description:
Application process is the umbrella term for all sub-processes that take place in the course of an application. Depending on the category of the application, this process can vary greatly. We have made it our goal to effectively implement your internal processes in a customized manner.
Details:
There are different ways of structuring application processes. While some application processes are very short, others can be extended by any number of additional elements such as reference letters, selection procedures or interviews. Different sequences of the various sub-processes are also possible. Basically, application processes consist of:
- Creation of a user account and entry of personal data
- Subject- or job-specific application form
- Form for university entrance qualification;
in the case of postgraduate courses or job advertisements, usually "educational pathway".
- Possible additional elements such as letters of reference, aptitude tests or interviews
- Document upload
For degree program applications, the first step in the application process is usually the selection of the role in which one wishes to apply. Thereupon, the subsequent steps are adjusted according to the choice. In addition to the role "student", exchange student, guest student, secondary student or junior student can also be selected.
For separate application procedures of, for example, graduate schools, it is possible to first go through a general part of the application process and then select specific positions, research groups or supervisors. The application process here is usually multi-stage and also includes letters of reference or further selection rounds such as interviews.
For university positions, the applicant selects a position from a list of all open positions at the beginning of the application form. New open positions are automatically displayed here and no application is possible after the end of the deposited application period.
The entire end-to-end application process can be fully integrated on your institution's website. So you don't manage a separate application portal, but can keep all program information up-to-date by changing it in one place in all views. The advantage for prospective students: A "Apply Now" button on the program page facilitates direct access to the application form.
