Description:

For some open-admission programs, students can directly enroll themselves without going through any application process. However, the university entrance qualification must still be checked for this. Therefore, the University Entrance Qualification feature can be used for open-admission programs in the same way as for all other application procedures.

Applicants create a user account in the first step, where all personal data is requested. The process for open-admission programs then consists only of the university entrance qualification form. Once this has been completed, the application can be submitted.

Once the application is received, it is displayed for formal review. In contrast to the admission-restricted application procedures, which are not reviewed collectively until after the application deadline, these can go directly through the formal review. This can speed up the process and prevent applicants from dropping out. After a successful formal examination, which in this case only consists of the examination of the entrance certificate, applicants can enroll.
