If a second undergraduate degree is pursued after an already completed degree, this is referred to as a second degree. Second degree applications are constituting a special admission category. Up to four percent of the study places are reserved for applications for a second degree.
An application for a second degree is integrated into the application process, as are all other applications. The process can be extended by providing additional information of the first degree and reasoning why to pursue another.
The category of second degree applicants usually represents a separate admission category in the admission procedure. All applicants for a second study program are ranked according to an extra ranking list and admitted on the basis of the existing quotas.
In the fee administration, it is also possible to define any additional fees that may occur for a second degree program.
