Description:
Under certain circumstances, a re-registration block may be imposed if documents or examination results are missing. A re-registration block means that the person in question is temporarily unable to re-register for the coming semester due to a circumstance that prevents them from continuing their studies.
For this purpose, the various OpenCampus features interact intelligently. For example, a re-registration block is automatically imposed in the case of a prerequisite missing or failed examination performance. The reason for the block can be viewed in the student's personal area. If the reason for the re-registration block is not remedied in time, exmatriculation usually follows. To prevent this as far as possible, automatic e-mails can be set up to notify students of approaching deadlines, inform them about re-registration barriers and reasons for re-registration blocks.
