Description:

An internship database is helpful for the selection and administration of internships integrated into studies. Internships can be saved as a kind of digital index card with any properties. In addition to suitable courses of study, contact persons and a description of the activities, this can also include further helpful information on remuneration, requirements.  A numerical code number of all internship positions also facilitates the booking in of students and prevents double bookings.

Details:

The list can be filtered according to all created criteria. For example, students can only view internships that match their degree programme, requirements and interests.

The database can also be continuously maintained. This way, it is always recorded when and by whom the internship position was filled. Visits by supervisors or experts can also be noted. Changes or additional information and comments can always be updated.

A new internship position can be created by the administration as well as by students, teachers and alumni. In the list view of all internship positions, there is a function "Suggest new internship". If an internship was suggested by a person, the form is checked by the responsible administration before it is transferred to the database. A message field can be used, for example, to ask questions or request further documents.

It is also possible to use this database to display vacancies in a kind of job exchange or to integrate it into an existing job fair at the university.
