Whether in the administration of teachers or students: the maintenance and administration of master data in an effective system represents a great relief for university administration. Master data records can be defined and expanded as desired, as well as filtered or searched according to specific criteria.
In student administration, master data is automatically transferred from the application and admission process. Manual entries are not necessary. For all students there is a master data record, which is stored in the student file. This master data, such as address, can be updated by students themselves. Such self-service functions simplify the administrative effort immensely. The personal master data record can also be supplemented by the administration with additional categories as desired.
Master data management is similar in the administration of teaching staff. If application processes are carried out via the system, the master data can also be transferred automatically. Teachers also have self-service functions, for example to update their personal profile, address or bank details.
Furthermore, the extra feature for duplicate checks supports the master data management by automatically checking the address qualities.
