Improvement of the average grade: If circumstances of a massive impairment of performance in the education of the final grade qualifying for higher education are proven, this disadvantage can be compensated for and the application can participate in the selection procedure with an improved grade/points.

Preferential admission according to service: If an admission has already been issued for a study place, but the student didn't start the course due to a certain service, an application for preferential admission can be submitted for the same study programme within a certain period of time. The requirements for such a "service" are determined by law.
