Change of examination regulations

For degree programmes, the existing examination regulations are repeatedly improved and occasionally completely reissued. The old examination regulations then expire at a fixed point in time. Often it is guaranteed that all students can finish their studies in their examination regulations. Sometimes, however, it is necessary to change to the new examination regulations. Under certain circumstances, students can apply for this themselves.

If students would like to change to a newer version of the examination regulations, which is not necessarily provided for, they can submit a request for a change of examination regulations. This can be found in the personal area of the user account, where all other application forms are also stored. The Examination Office can classify the semester in which the new examination regulations apply. Similar to the recognition of examinations process, the old modules are recognised for the new ones as far as possible. If necessary, individual examinations cannot be taken over or must be made up.
If the change of examination regulations is confirmed, the student is transferred to the new system. All data, such as the study plan, will then automatically appear in the new structure.
