Module Handbooks
Fully digital module handbooks and interfaces with course planning and examination regulationsUsed by:
Description:
A module handbook is the detailed description of the content of a course of study: On the same hierarchical structure of the examination regulations, the individual modules are described in terms of content. In most cases, these are short, formulated descriptions of the learning goals and objectives.
The structure of a module handbook can be created automatically on the basis of the examination regulations. Descriptive texts and further details can be added manually. In addition to formal rules such as the semester hours per week and ECTS points, other data fields can also be created, such as the language in which the course is offered or a person responsible for the module.
Module handbooks can be maintained continuously without making changes to the study structure itself. The entire module handbook or individual parts of it can be displayed at the touch of a button as a PDF, e.g. for downloading from the university website.
A comparison function helps to compare different versions and filter for changes.
When creating a new lecture, all details and descriptive texts can be automatically transferred from the module handbook. This makes course planning effortless and avoids any typing mistakes.
