Description:

Career-related continuing education as well as general educational offerings for the cultivation of science and the arts are an increasingly important task of German universities. Such events are primarily directed at external interested persons as well as the alumni network.

Details:

Continuing education courses can be created just as any other event type. They can be configured as single event as well as long term programs. In the course of the event creation, the number of participants as well as a participant fee is defined.

The range of training courses is publicly accessible. For each event, a button with "Participate now" is displayed. This takes interested parties to an online registration form, which is automatically assigned to the reference number of the selected event. Here all relevant data can be asked of the applicant. Next to first-come-first-serve rules, participation can also be bound to certain prerequisites. Payment details are included in the registration form. The participant fee can be paid directly via QR code.

As soon as the registration form has been submitted and the payment has been booked, the applicants data will be formally checked and the participation will then be confirmed. The participants will receive an automatically generated confirmation of their course booking.

The event can also have the same function menu as all other courses. For example, materials can be uploaded for and by participants via "Resources", or a chat room can be activated.
