Transfer applications

Several universities allow applications from students transferring from other institutions, usually called transfers. Usually transfers are not possible within the running academic year. Depending on the university, applications have to be submitted via UCAS or directly at the university. There would be certain entry requires, such as a personal statement or a certain average of the academic grades already achieved. 
Different rules may apply regarding the point of entry, for example you may not be able to transfer in the final year, or a transfer at the beginning of the program will only be possible of you start all over again.
