Defining basic program characteristics for each courseUsed by:
Description:
For each degree program, some basic settings have to be defined, on which all further processes such as application, course and exam administration are based. The default settings are defined for each degree program in a separate form. This can be extended as required and usually contains the following data:
- Name of the study program and possibly an abbreviated form
- Identification number: University-internal program number as well as key for federal statistical office
- Selection list of roles that can apply, such as regular students, exchange students and guest students
- For which semester applications are possible
- Admission requirements
- In case of multiple study programs, combination options can be defined
- Number of study places
- Standard period of study
- Type of study: distance learning, full-time, part-time, or integrated degree programs
- Fees including fee allocation according to different receivers
- Study program active or inactive
All study programs can also be displayed in an overall view as a list. This list can contain important categories from the form for the first overview. For example, you can filter by active or inactive study programs or application periods.
