Description:
Whether chat, email or video call, one-to-one conversations, groups or entire faculties - fast and secure communication channels are an important part of all educational institutions. For this purpose, we offer extensive communication channels that are anchored in the OpenCampus portal itself.
In general, messages can be sent to any person or group via the OpenCampus Portal. The advantage here is the secure backup: messages are not lost in the system and can be viewed at any time. For example, a student's entire conversation can be retrieved by matriculation number. In addition, the messages can also be sent as e-mails via campus e-mail addresses.
At the organisational level, information can be sent specifically to individuals (groups), such as within a course, a degree programme, an entire students batch, or a whole faculty.
For teachers and administrative staff, there is the possibility to exchange securely and to edit, review or evaluate documents together via collaboration functions.
Chat rooms are available for students at course and programme level to support peer-to-peer exchange. Secure online meeting rooms can also be used for group work or presentation preparation. Partner students or mentors from higher semesters can be assigned to promote support and exchange between students across semesters. Students can also easily contact the student administration and lecturers via the online portal.
The various communication channels are also a great support for prospective students. Via chat rooms, for example, they can simply write to fellow students, network with each other, or even ask questions to other students which they would rather ask in an unofficial setting.
